PARADA

Smart parking · Capstone

Know which zone has space before you drive in.

A mobile and web-based smart parking system for zone-based occupancy detection using OCR-assisted cameras. Instead of a sensor on every slot, PARADA counts vehicles at zone gates with standard cameras and plate reading, and keeps zone-level availability — capacity minus occupied — as the one number everyone trusts.

Tala

Notes + handwriting · Desktop and web

Pagtatala, made simple.

A local-first note-taking app inspired by the Filipino concept of pagtatala — recording thoughts, ideas and things worth remembering. Rich text, handwriting and imported documents live side by side, with no account and no server. Sun by day, moon by night.

Lorenz Malabanan builds

smart parking

A 3rd year BS Information Technology student at Lyceum of the Philippines University — Batangas. I build web, mobile and desktop apps with React, TypeScript and Tauri, and I’m trained in Cisco networking and cybersecurity.

PARADA, my smart-parking capstone, is being deployed. Tala, a note-taking app, is at v1.1.0. In 2025 I presented a paper as a finalist at INSECOM in Malang, Indonesia. Open to an internship.
